Position Summary: 

As our Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a part of a knowledgeable and well-diverse engineering team who loves to have fun and get stuff done!  You will play a key role in overseeing engineering design specifications and other engineering processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must know how to apply Engineering knowledge and related codes and standards in analyzing and developing effective assembly systems, generating specifications, and delivering technical presentations to clients
• Must have 1-3  years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 
• Should have In-depth knowledge of highly technical engineering principles and processes in the mil/aero industry
• Should have a knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing

Are You Our Next ACE?

• Direct responsibility for the Assembly Department including overseeing engineering process activities and personnel labor training
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of engineering designs, mechanical data sheets, code calculations and design specifications
• Define department’s engineering activity layout and design of workflow and tooling requirements
• Supervise technical interfaces with the customer and production on all Engineering related issues and be responsible for processing waiver requests resulting from MRB activity or other engineering related issues
• Interface with the design and sales on all quotes, process quotes in the allotted time frame agreed to with the customer and submit quote and solicit feedback from the customer
• Conduct periodic internal status meetings for all contracts, and updates the customer on any problems that cause a schedule impact along with a recovery plan to correct the problem
• Create work and process instructions, perform assembly time studies, manage router times and manage assembly yield data
• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects

Pay Transparency: 

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $70,000 per year - $85,000 per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
