Winchester Veterinary Group is a busy three doctor practice, who has long been established in our community. We are fortunate to have experienced staff and a dedicated client base. Our doctors specialize in internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, behavior, ultrasound, and aquatics. We are excited to be in the process of moving to a brand-new facility with seven exam rooms, a large treatment area, and separate dental and surgical suites.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and veterinary services, providing exceptional support to our clients while ensuring the well-being of their pets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for animals, and the ability to handle various customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding pet care, services, and products.
- Assist clients with scheduling appointments for veterinary services and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pet information in our database.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to relay important information regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Utilize veterinary terminology effectively when communicating with clients and team members.
- Support emergency situations by providing critical care assistance as directed by veterinary professionals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology to facilitate effective communication with clients and staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and rotating Saturdays.
