PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement solutions for manufacturing issues that arise. This position will monitor and develop quality control procedures for manufacturing processes. This position will develop proposals for equipment, process flow improvements and production methods. The Manufacturing Engineer will conduct work flow analysis and make recommendations for improvements along with develop work flow procedures for new and existing products. This position will also coordinate outside resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
JOB INTERACTIONS AND INTERFACE
This role interacts with internal staff in Sub Assembly, Final Assembly, Test, Materials, Maintenance, and Human Resources.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor and develop quality control procedures for manufacturing processes
Develop proposals for equipment, process flow improvements and production methods
Utilizing Gemba Walks and Company reports, conduct work flow analysis and make recommendations for improvements along with develop work flow procedures for new and existing products
Coordinate outside resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Operate with the utmost attention to safety of self and others
Work well within a team of professionals and independently
Comply and align daily tasks while meeting deadlines
Work to exceed WINCO’s quality and safety standards
Other duties as assigned
