Job purpose
The HR Generalist will support Human Resource functions supporting the Wincore employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with payroll and benefits administration, assisting with the hiring process, scheduling new employee orientations and training and entering of a high volume of employment records into our HR database.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform administrative work, to include scheduling, maintaining confidential files, and sorting the mail for the HR department
- Data entry regarding employment and other various HR documentation
- Track and update hourly employee attendance and leave of absences
- Assist the HR Manager with the hiring process, to include but not limited to, submission of job postings and scheduling candidate interviews
- Assist in coordination/logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions
- Work closely with onsite staffing firm in regards to assisting employees
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
- 1 years of experience in progressively responsible human resources roles required
- Experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations preferred
- Experience operating in an HRIS preferred
