What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Gift Shop Supervisor position at Wind River Hotel and Casino?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Follow all company Policies and Procedures.
- Verify guest/vendor payment method.
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization.
- Input customer orders into Eatec, tag and inventory items
- Direct Bill
- Maintain clear and accurate records.
- Compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts.
- Receive and send messages.
- Retrieve mail, packages, and documents such as faxes.
- Listen and respond to guest/vendor queries and requests both in-person and by phone.
- Supply correct information about local attractions and services.
- Communicate with necessary staff including housekeeping and maintenance to address any problems or complaints made by guests.
- Complete and keep any incident reports, daily activity reports or other reports requested by management.
- Review accounts and charges with guests/vendors.
- Process correct payment of guest/vendor accounts.
- Enforce rules and policies of the Hotel/Gift Shop.
- Supervise and cross-train Hotel/Gift Shop Employees
- Approve work schedules.
- Fill in when needed.
- Help check the maintenance of all equipment, have knowledge to trouble shoot issues.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings.
- Email and phone correspondence.
- Supply direction to staff.
- Fill in for manager in time of absence, make executive decisions and provide accountability.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Must be 18 at time of hire.
- Must be able to prove their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
- Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License
- Must be able to obtain and keep a Gaming License.
