What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worker I position at Wind River Hotel and Casino?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Performing repairs or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites. Including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and glazier.
- Repairing and treating structures such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, carpets, and roofs.
- Performing minor repairs, troubleshooting and adjustments of locks on cabinets, closets, desk, door hinges, and cleaning plugged key slots.
- Reporting mechanical malfunction for immediate action.
- Assisting in moving and transporting furniture and equipment. Setting up and breaking down cubical partitions, exercising discretions.
- Identify projects that need higher skilled individual services.
- Activation and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls after and during regular hours.
- Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid Wyoming Driver License.
- Must be 18 years of age date of hire.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be licensable under the requirements of the Northern Arapaho Gaming Agency.
- Must be able to read and interpret with good written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to operate a variety of tools and equipment relative to this position.
- Must be able to work independently on a team with minimal supervision.
- Must be flexible with shifts and days off with the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, special events, etc., as needed.
- Must adhere to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time, to be able to move objects up to 100 pounds, to work in hazardous environments under all weather conditions. May be exposed to loud noise and hazards for significant periods of time.
- Ability to work above ground level such as on ladders and scaffolding.
