- Assist students with individualized and small group learning activities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide escort and mobility assistance to students when necessary
- Maintain accurate student records, including progress reports and attendance
- Record student learning data as directed by the supervising teacher
- Prepare and distribute lesson plan materials
- Communicate effectively with parents on student progress
