Job Title: Human Resources Officer IV - HRIS Analyst
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Pay Group: A20 Salary Plan
Primary Purpose: A HRIS Analyst is an expert in human resources management systems. They collect data and analyze it to improve HR strategies and processes, improve performance metrics, as well as suggest ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Major course work in Human Resources Management, MIS (Information systems), or a related field is required.
Three (3) years of full-time, wage earning experience in a HRIS or MIS role with progressive responsibility.
Experience with PowerSchool, School Spring, Ascender, database management, and reporting modules preferred.
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Experience managing HRIS changes/implementations to support the district.
Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
Skill to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and effectively.
Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Skill in the use of human resources related software applications.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Participate in planning, designing, and implementing HR automated systems.
2. Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management
3. Optimize HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests
4. Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data
5. Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and benefits administration, when required
6. Documenting processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports
7. Partner with cross-functional team members and IT team members on HRIS-related issues/enhancements/queries
8. Creates, modifies, and abolishes positions; maintains vacancy reports.
9. Support all HRIS systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, and administration) and human resources end users in the use of HRIS applications and desktop tools (recruitment, personnel performance evaluation, and document management systems and software).
10. Uses independent judgment as required to recommend departmental or organizational objectives. Responsible for making recommendations within the department.
11. Accomplishes team objectives by training staff, organizing and monitoring work processes.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

14. Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at location of work assignment.
15. Follow Windham School District policies and procedures in completing assigned job duties.
16. Execute duties in a professional, ethical and responsible manner as defined in 19 TAC Chapter 247, Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Educators.
