What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofesisonal - SEA Behavioral Services position at Windham Southeast Supervisory Union?
SEA Behavioral Services is a Tier 3 program for students who need support with their social-emotional needs in order to be successful in the school setting. SEA paraprofessionals work under the supervision of social workers and special educators to provide support based on individual student needs based on each student's Individual Educational Program (IEP). Typical duties include data collection, support in the general education classroom, and small group supervision. Qualified candidates will have experience working with teenagers in an educational setting, will be able to maintain appropriate boundaries, and will be able to provide support for student experiencing emotional dysregulation using research based strategies.
