Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Event Setup personnel. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that events run smoothly by preparing venues according to specific requirements. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to create memorable experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are in good condition and ready for use during events.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to understand layout plans and specific setup needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space.
- Set tables with linens, silverware, glassware etc.
Experience
- Previous experience in event setup or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently under time constraints.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules.
Shift is 10am-6pm, schedule varies depending on the event schedule but likely to be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
