Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to special needs adults in a day program, Monday through Friday from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. The LPN will need to perform G-tube feedings.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health and vital signs, documenting changes in medical records using eClinicalWorks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Support patients in daily living activities, focusing on both physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Assist in changing and toileting.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Experience with Special Needs Adults.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on individual needs.
