Home Improvement Company seeking In-Home Sales Representative. Must be knowledgeable in exterior products : vinyl replacement windows, vinyl siding, fiberglass doors, shutters, and gutters. No door knocking or cold calling, all company set appointments.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Hold a valid drivers license (required)
Daily travel required. Territory covers Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster, Orange, and Sullivan Counties - sometimes lower parts of Columbia and Greene.
Ability to work Monday thru Saturday, evenings required.
Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs (carry demo products and samples)
Basic computer and tablet skills
Basic math skills
Organization - paperwork, followup, and communication with departments and customers
Competitive and willing to learn
Goal Oriented and Customer Focused
Self-disciplined and have a sense of accountabiltiy
Ability to close a sale without being high pressure.
Selling on value, not price
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage and follow made company generated appointments with homeowners
Complete paperwork, measuring, and limited ordering
Take pictures of jobs and supply with paperwork and email to office daily
Conduct in-home sales presentations by building trust and educating customers
Identify customer needs & sell based on value and pros of product and company
Attend sales meetings. May need to attend out of state Regional and Corporate Meetings occassionally
Participate in local Home Shows
Perform product demos and discuss custom products during in-home consultations
Represent company professionally and deliver customer experience
Follow-up with customers and sell additional products
Continue contact with customer developing repeat / referral opportunities
