WORK SCHEDULE: M-F (with some flexibility at various points of the year, especially slow season between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day)

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking window well cover technician to navigate unique daily routes providing on site quotes, measurements and installation of our custom made window well covers. At times this person will help with our in-house fabrication of the custom made window well covers. In this semi-skilled position, you will report to the company owners (father/son team) and work closely with the other members of the team who primarily focus on running the shop and assisting with admin responsibilities and scheduling. We are the fastest growing window well cover manufacturer and installer in the front range serving south Denver, Castle Rock and Colorado Springs. We plan to continue to grow this year and the years to come and are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, robust work ethic, and dynamic problem solving to learn this position and in time with a proven track record of success be the lead person for a small field team once we grow enough.

Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Prep and load window well covers and tools into the work van.
• Keep the work van in clean working order and properly fueled.
• Drive unique routes each day to quote, measure, and install window well covers on site at people’s homes.
• Installation of window well covers, locking system, and occasional cleaning of window wells.
• Accurately quote, photograph, and measure window wells. (Most difficult part to learn and problem solve.)
• Upload photos and notes into respective customer databases.
• Use various user-friendly apps, our CRM platform, and cloud sharing services that streamline our business operation.
• While not an official sales position, the ability to speak about the product and design of our covers, answer questions, and ultimately “sell” the product when interfacing with customers is essential.
• Proactively communicate with customers throughout the day via the CRM interface, phone, and email.
• Assist in fabricating window well covers/parts in the shop as requested especially as we transition between slow and busy seasons.
• Follow safety guidelines and best practices.
• Participate in hands-on, on-the-job training.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Must have an upbeat outlook and a desire to learn the in-and-outs of the business.
• Must be dedicated and reliable
• Must have a reasonably clean driving record and no criminal history.
• Must be coachable and trainable
• Must have solid physical stamina and an ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated and hard working
• Comfortable working with their hands and basic shop tools
• Rivet air gun, chop saw, band saw, buzz saw, power drill, rotary cement drill, punch press, grinder, sander. Prior experience is strongly preferred, but not necessary
• Comfortable working in the Colorado hot summers and cold winters.
• Comfortable using their smart-phone as a camera and to utilize various apps. (deactivated camera phone available if needed).
• Technology minded and eager to learn.

• Paid training period ($19 an hour 3 - 6 weeks).

• 2 Weeks of PTO to be applied at times we are closed for holidays or other off days. PTO is independent of requested time off and is paid out at the end of each year.
• Quarterly bonus for every 5-star review you contribute too.
• OT pay available in the busy season.
