Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Executive Chef to join our team at Windridge Tennis & Sports Camps. Our camp operates in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont from June through August.
Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen, developing menus and creating healthy meals for 150 campers (ages 7-15) and 95 staff members.
- Lead a team of 9-10 staff members in providing three meals a day and maintaining a clean kitchen area.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a camp chef or in an institutional food-service setting.
- Ability to supervise food service staff, create healthy menus, and train staff on proper food service policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week based on experience.
- Travel stipend, room, and board included.
- 6-day working week with 1 day off.
