EMS/Ambulance Dispatcher -REQUIRED - 3 Years CURRENT AMBULANCE DISPATCHING EXPERIENCE
Current Inter-Facility Dispatching and 911 Dispatching
NOTE: If you do not have 3 YEARS of CURRENT EMS/Ambulance dispatching, you will not be considered for the position.
3 years as well as familiarity with medical terminology being required
Our team is expanding so we are looking for a professional individual who is currently experienced with EMS or Ambulance Dispatching who would like to join the dedicated Windsor team where collaboration is key!
Responsibilities:
- Must have 3 Years current Inter-Facility Dispatch experience
- Must have a strong knowledge of Houston streets, Interstates, and surrounding counties
- Must be able to answer multi-line emergency and non-emergency calls while dispatching
- Must be able to work on day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, familiar with CAD systems
- Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work as part of a diverse team, able to work with and without supervision
- Must be able to make decisions as an individual, problem solving
- Experience in communication, public relations and leadership
- Great attendance and punctuality record
- Must be able to maintain a variety of records and logs
- High school diploma or Equivalent
