About The Role
Windsor is seeking motivated engineers to join our Water Wastewater team, focusing on innovative water, wastewater, and stormwater solutions that support sustainable community development. As a Civil Engineer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver comprehensive infrastructure planning and design projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in infrastructure planning, treatment process design and hydraulic modeling while working on diverse municipal water projects. You'll collaborate with project teams to develop engineering solutions that balance technical excellence with practical implementation, all while maintaining Windsor's commitment to quality. What You'll Do
- Demonstrate Windsor's core values through positive representation and strong relationship building
- Support development of master plans and facility plans for water, wastewater and stormwater systems.
- Complete ArcGIS mapping and analysis for various applications.
- Develop planning- level cost estimates and phasing recommendations,
- Create detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for a wide variety of infrastructure projects.
- Assist with and lead regulatory compliance documentation and permit applications for a wide variety of infrastructure projects, including stormwater, water and wastewater.
- Prepare technical documents and planning reports.
- Participate in field investigations and site assessments as needed.
- Bring an enthusiastic approach to your work daily, with a willingness to see challenges as opportunities.
- Engage in continuous learning of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- 1-4 Years of experience in water resources planning or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in preparing, reading, and understanding technical documents
- Experience with and ability to perform drafting and modeling in GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of basic MS Office skills including Word and Excel
- Strong written, verbal ad technical communication skills
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
