- Earning $3,600 per week for an 8-week period, starting from 6/2/205
- Located in Barnstable County, MA
- 40 hours per week with various shifts between 7am and 8pm, including every other weekend
- Summer coverage required
- Performing computerized tomographic and radiographic procedures as requested by providers
- Operating various hardware and equipment including mobile radiography equipment
- Moving X-Ray equipment into the correct position and selecting proper imaging techniques and protocols
- Performing procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment, initiative, and constant attention to detail
- Positioning patients for optimal results and providing care for their physical and psychological needs during procedures
- Assisting physicians and nurses with patient monitoring and treatment during procedures
- Maintaining and adjusting equipment, including calibration checks
- Recording all required information to provide permanent records of significant anatomical or pathologic data obtained
- Applying principles of radiographic protection to minimize radiation exposure
- Coordinating work for maximum productivity and efficiency
- Evaluating images for technical quality
- Maintaining proficiency in PACS system and adequate radiology records
- Assisting physicians with administration of radiographic contrast media
- Staying updated on departmental and hospital policies and procedures, including fire and disaster plans
- Complying with infection control policies and procedures
- Participating in activities promoting professional self-growth and development
- Ensuring patient confidentiality at all times
- Consistently providing service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers, and co-workers
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned or requested.
