Your Role
You will supervise the scheduling, training, and discipline of all culinary and utility staff as a Sous Chef. You will oversee all culinary functions in the Chef's absence, including staffing, food production, utility management, and kitchen sanitation.
As a key member of our team, you will direct the preparation and service of all menu items, ensuring timely service of resident meals and adhering to recipes, proper food handling, food safety, quality, dietary restrictions, and production forecasts.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise the scheduling, training, and discipline of all culinary and utility staff.
- Oversee all culinary functions in the Chef's absence, including staffing, food production, utility management, and kitchen sanitation.
- Direct the preparation and service of all menu items.
- Manage daily kitchen production and food preparation.
- Ensure timely service of resident meals.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years full-service experience is required.
- A minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience is required.
- You must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
- You must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- You must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
