Windsor School is Seeking a 6th Grade Math/Science Teacher
Windsor School is a public PreK-12 school serving approximately 560 students, with 110 students in
grades 6-8. Our supervisory union celebrates all dimensions of diversity and strives to be a place where

approach through proficiency based learning and student voice, through their learning, leadership

Qualifications:
Vermont Teaching License - Middle Level Endorsement in Math or Science, Elementary Education K-6,
or related certification.
The successful candidate will:
● Understand the middle grades philosophy and the unique developmental needs of middle grade
learners;
● Demonstrate the ability to foster a positive rapport with students and families;
● Motivate and engage students;
● Have experience with proficiency based teaching and learning;
● Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm;
● Take initiative, and engage in self-reflection;
● Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members;
● Enjoy co-planning/teaching and have experience integrating curriculum;
● Have interest, willingness, and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity,
equity and inclusion
Preferred, but not required:
● Developmental Design/Responsive Classroom training
● Collaborative Problem Solving training
● Knowledge of Trauma Informed teaching
● Knowledge of Leader In Me & Student Agency initiatives
● Additional Endorsements in middle level or K-6 certification
