We are adding a new member to our dispatch group to help coordinate the daily operations of our organization. The successful candidate will assist in management of the local & regional owner operator fleet, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner, and providing customer service to our clients. The dispatcher must have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have strong communication skills. Working knowledge of intermodal transportation, the Port of Baltimore and Microsoft Office is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Entry level $18-$19/hour
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate the daily operations of the dispatch team.
- Maintain communication with drivers and customers.
- Ensure that orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Provide customer service support to drivers and customers.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries through use of Ports America Chesapeake website and TMW software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
