- Training will begin no earlier than late February 2025
- Position Summary : This is an entry level position involved in providing support for underwriters. The Underwriting Assistant reviews and processes endorsements and provides support for underwriters by processing correspondence, cancellations, non-renewals and executing follow-up action. Essential Functions : Complete daily assignments in a paperless environment.Refer policies needing underwriting action to underwriter for review / decision.Complete action on items referred by underwriter.Effectively manages work items in compliance : Time / service standardsWithin established efficiency and quality standardsProvide exceptional customer service with agents and other company support positions via written correspondence.Develop expertise by building technical knowledge through learning and development activities.Implement underwriting decisions in compliance with state laws and company guidelines.Perform other duties as may be assigned.#LI-Remote
