What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Director position at Windwood Family Services?
Provides direct supervision and oversight to The Treatment Services Manager, The Director of Nursing, and The Residential Care Program Managers for execution of treatment programming in the PRTF and QRTP including admissions and discharges, timely client assessments and evaluations, treatment plan development and execution, emergency safety interventions and critical incidents, and transition and discharge planning.
Promotes interdisciplinary approach. Promotes use of evidence-based therapies and use of standardized assessment tools.
Supervises Compliance and Utilization Review Supervisors.
Acts as the agency lead for all local, state, and federal licensing, referral, auditing and contract compliance events Maintains one line of communication with the agents assigned to Windwood’s residential programs from CMS, DSS, SCDPH, SCDHHS.
Acts as the first line clinical and operations administrator for all Emergency Safety Interventions, Serious Occurrences, and Critical Incidents.
Along with the Residential Treatment Services Manager, conducts face to face debriefing with staff and youth. Initiates a Residential Treatment Logic Model; develops Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives for the PRTF and QRTP that will provide a framework for increasing Windwood’s capacity to make data-informed decisions that support achievement of performance targets, program goals, and positive client outcomes.
