Winfield Senior Living Community is seeking a FT Registered Nurse to join our Night SHIFT clinical team!

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the RN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Winfield standards.
Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patients condition on a daily basis, you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to LPN/CNAs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor patients condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patients symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients charts
- Adjust and administer patients medication and provide treatments according to physicians orders
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies
- Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Active state-issued RN License
- Current first aid/CPR certification (BLS)
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
