Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor (Hotel Porter) to join our team. The porter will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that all facilities are in good condition. Perform basic cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. They may also clean and supply designated areas, such as bathrooms, staircases, hallways, lobby, etc. which they should clean, sanitize, and restock
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste management
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals
- Notify management if any repairs needed
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
