Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry services meet our high standards, particularly in a hotel environment where guest satisfaction is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens, towels, and garments efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
• Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of equipment.
• Inspect items for stains or damages and report any issues to management.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
