Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping and scheduling needs.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing credit card payments accurately.
- Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding products and services, including upselling when appropriate.
- Ensure the spaces are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Utilize phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting customers over the phone.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and inventory levels using POS systems.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred, golf knowledge and enthusiasm a major bonus.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers is a plus.
- Skills in supervising staff or mentoring new employees are beneficial.
