Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and maintain cleanliness in accordance with food safety standards will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, cocktail recipes, and food pairings to enhance guest offerings.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest interaction and service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with culinary concepts related to drink pairings is a plus.
- Experience in nightclub or hospitality settings is advantageous but not required.
