Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services while ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all patrons. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced setting will be essential to your success in this role.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality presentation.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items and specials.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments using cash register systems while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary knowledge or experience is beneficial but not required.
