Description :
To develop, implement, and provide trainings on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) to hospital patients and personnel on behalf of WINGS Program, Inc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and revise and training materials on a regular basis for the Hospital Program.
- Manage ongoing trainings to hospital personnel on issues related to Intimate Partner Violence.
- Coordinate and facilitate with Manager Hospital Services monthly partnership meetings between WINGS and the hospital.
- Develop and implement hospital Anti-Violence Month activities (DV, Teen Dating, etc.)
- Network with local township, social service, and community agencies to educate the community about WINGS services, to build collaboration.
- Lead community presentations to educate on issues related to Domestic Violence.
- Provides direct service in the form of bedsides, crisis intervention, emotional support, and conflict resolution, when needed.
- Ensure documentation in records in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion in accordance with agency policies and funding requirements.
- Ensure administrative responsibilities and reporting are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with agency and supervisor requirements.
- Work with Development staff to establish indicators and outcomes measures, ensure accurate data collection and reporting, and ensure timely submission of all reports.
- Attend Agency and Hospital administrative meetings as required and collaborate with other staff as needed.
- Immediately report child abuse to the Department of Children and Family Services as mandated by law and in accordance with agency procedures.
