Purpose: The Outpatient Manager maintains responsibility for administrative and leadership aspects of Simply Bee’s outpatient program and culture. They oversee team members in the outpatient department to ensure they are performing effectively. This role is also responsible for their own clinical caseload.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

Manager Tasks (25% or 10 hours per week)

  • Guide and supervise assigned clinicians through the onboard and offboard process.
  • Review and hold assigned supervisees accountable for administrative tasks and reviewing client documentation
  • Provide ongoing feedback to supervisees and mentor through growth areas in clinical supervision
  • See through coordination and calls with clients, parents, and providers in community as needed
  • Participate and/or lead in mandatory staffing meetings and lead treatment staffing of current cases.
  • Complete requested administrative information such as timesheet, calendar management, drive organization etc.
  • Participate in communication platforms such as trello, airtable, or slack.
  • Responsible for reports as assigned by CEO and ECD

Clinical Care & Administration (62.5% or 25 hours per week)

  • 25 scheduled session hours per week, 20 sessions occur per week; monthly goal of 80 sessions
  • Create a family engagement plan upon admission for each minor client.
  • Complete weekly clinical charting notes/forms every Friday before midnight.
  • Responsible for thoroughly documenting initial assessments, evaluation and development of

treatment plans for clients, preparation of discharge summaries and/or continuing care plan.

  • Reinforce clinical services and staff adherence to the practice’s standards, values, and quality of

care.

  • Complete weekly communication tracker for family engagement and chartnote.
  • Complete weekly communication tracker for all external providers and chartnote.
  • Complete weekly new client and discharge client tracker document.Qualifications
  • Licensed LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D/ Psy.D in Illinois (required)
  • Masters in social work, clinical psychology, or related field (required)
  • Previous experience in supervision (strongly preferred)
  • Independent learning such as reading leadership books (strongly preferred)
  • Associate Therapist at Simply Bee for 1 year or more (preferred)

Clinician Competencies

  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to coordinate referrals and make recommendations based on screening individuals who may be a danger to themselves or others using the ASQ and C-SSRS safety screening and assessment outcome measures, in accordance with policy and procedure, and communicates to the Executive Clinical Director and/or CEO for follow-up, as indicated.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to coordinate referrals and make recommendations based on pain screening and assessment outcome and in accordance with policy and procedure and communicates to the Executive Clinical Director and/or CEO for follow-up, as indicated.
  • Demonstrates competence and is knowledgeable about how to complete a nutrition screening, as evidenced by applying proficient knowledge when using the nutrition screening tool, documenting thoroughly and accurately within the client's health record, and completes the screening within the timeline outlined in the policy and procedure.
  • Demonstrates competence and is knowledgeable about how to assess for abuse, neglect, and trauma, as evidenced by applying proficient knowledge when using the initial screening tool, documenting thoroughly and accurately within the client's health record, and completes the screening within the timeline outlined in the policy and procedure.
  • Demonstrates competence and is knowledgeable about adolescent developmental milestones, as evidenced by applying proficient knowledge when using the assessment tool, documenting thoroughly and accurately within the client's health record, and completes the screening within the timeline outlined in the policy and procedure.
