Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Director of Community Services, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision and training to assigned staff members, as well as monitoring assigned budget.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide clinical supervision to the program and staff, and other departments as needed.
- Provide weekly individual supervision to assigned staff and group supervision as needed.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of electronic medical records, ensuring properly trained staff to increase efficiency of service.
- Provide staff trainingto focus on necessary skills to implement outpatient and school based counseling programs.
- Facilitate the implementation of clinical planning for clients as designed by the treatment team.
- Review client treatment goals and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Valid Ohio LISW-S or LPCC-S required.
- Strong clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions, group work and substance abuse therapy.
- Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.
Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. - Experience in working with children, adolescents and their families.Demonstratesclinical experience in chemical dependency treatment.
