WHAT WE’LL NEED |
You will be a key partner in a high performing cross-functional team, defining and driving the supply chain agenda and making a direct impact on the success of our existing Brand Partners and our ability to expand into new markets in the APAC region. While you are at it, you will be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development and teamwork, within APAC and our International Leadership Team based in Dallas. Together we will shape a stronger future for Wingstop and your career. The key areas of focus and priority are to support our existing Brand Partners in Indonesia and Singapore, drive our new market entry efforts in Korea (and beyond) and provide functional leadership for innovation, regional and global projects: Support our existing Brand Partners - Ensure continuity of supplies – anticipate potential bottlenecks/disruptions, find solutions, support volume forecasts, evaluate lead times and order quantities
- Drive efficiencies thru alternative suppliers, review of specifications, competitive bids and regional consolidation opportunities
- Maintain integrity of supplies and food safety – coordinate and manage QA audits (by third party) on critical vendors
- Improve customer experience thru enhancing product quality and brand standards
- Lead and manage suppliers’ contracts and performance
- Establish Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews with suppliers and Brand Partners to drive continuous improvement
- Monitor COGS and establish/lead actions to improve it with suppliers in the region and Brand Partners
Drive our new market entry (NME) efforts - Project management of NME workstreams – act as the central controller
- Source, qualify and establish vendor and supply network for new markets
- o ingredients, equipment, small wares, packaging, uniforms etc.
- Validate customs clearance with vendors for importation
- Qualify and manage warehousing and logistic service providers
- Maintain equipment and small wares planning/ forecasting and pick list
- Support in-market new product development, product tasting and market research
- Development of regional equipment suppliers to support market expansion
Functional leadership for innovation, regional and global projects - Partnership with Marketing to ideate and develop new menu items, and adaptations for local market preferences
- Partnership with Operations and Development to test and qualify new equipment and small wares
- Research, Qualify and Develop new vendors into the system – example test and validate new regional and/or local market sauce supplier
- Collaboration across regions and with Global Support Centre in Dallas
- Drive/facilitate synergies with other regions to maximize economies of scale
- Lead Supply Chain Categories Strategy for the region
- Establish Supplier Relationship Management in the region and drives a continuous improvement process
- Elaborate and update Risk Assessment of current and future Supply Chain
- Lead cross regional RFP’s to integrate regions and drive economies of scale
- Champion Supply Chain Corporate strategies in the region

WHAT YOU’LL NEED | - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Mgmt., Engineering, Business, Economics or related field, MBA preferred
- At least 6-8 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or related field
- Intermediate technical skills in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to develop, analyze and negotiate business agreements
- A role at a major processing firm, Restaurant Company, or CPG company in purchasing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate at a high level across multiple functions
- Demonstrates leadership experience in one or more of the following areas: Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- Should show a strong understanding of operational aspects of the company from raw materials through delivery to the customer
- Working knowledge of sourcing various equipment and services
- Lean manufacturing principles and the effective implementation continuous improvement techniques
- Should have experience leading QBR’s and Continuous improvement sessions with suppliers
- Ability to implement and lead a Supplier Relationship Management program
- Experience at drafting/articulating a Category or Regional supply chain strategy
- Vast experience in project management leading complex projects, a project management certification a plus
- Exercise a startup mentality since some new markets will require a very tactical hands-on approach.
- Strategic thinking; some developed markets will demand complex Supply Chain solutions and Long term planning.
- Job requires APAC region travel time of between 25%-50% and some occasional travel to other regions.
- Must live in Singapore.
