WHAT WE’LL NEED | Wingstop is looking for a Software Engineer (Frontend) joining our Digital/eCommerce team developing and supporting our proprietary eCommerce platform. We are seeking seasoned backend developers who can perform hands-on software development in Angular/NodeJS/GraphQL powering our eCommerce site and hybrid mobile Apps. - Hands-on software development using a disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment.
- Scope, design, and build scalable web/mobile application
- Build product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Lead design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization
- Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspective
- Utilizes developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication) to perform advanced-level Mobile/Web/UI design, implementation, and maintenance activities under minimal direction
- Architect and develop scalable, robust, and maintainable Angular applications using Angular 16 .
- Implement standalone components to improve code modularity and reusability.
- Utilize Deferable Components to optimize loading times and improve the user experience.
- Handle reactive programming patterns for dynamic, real-time user interactions. Develop and maintain visually appealing and user-centric designs using DI principles.
- Ensure the implementation of responsive UI components. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Collaborate with Quality, Product and Cloud Engineering teams to keep digital assets fully functional, secure, and up to date with business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED | - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; master’s degree preferred
- 6 years of experience in software development as senior engineer, technical lead
- Experience working in Retail industry/QSR and eCommerce is highly preferred
- 6 years of experience in Angular/TypeScript/Redux/NODE development, with Angular 16 expertise.
- Strong experience with Standalone Components and Deferable Components for optimized performance and load management.
- Proficiency in Signals for state management and reactive programming within Angular applications.
- Solid understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) with Angular Universal.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of web development standards.
- Extensive of experience in consuming RESTful APIs and interfacing with backend services, including familiarity with JSON, REST and XML
- Experience translating design mockups (in Zeplin, Figma, etc.) into production-quality functioning user interfaces.
- Handson experience with testing framework like Jasmine/Mocha/Jest
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Hands on experience debugging production software, monitoring tools like AppDynamics or any similar one and dashboarding and alerting platforms like Grafana.
- Knowledge in API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth2, JWT, OpenAPI, etc.
- Well versed in writing Unit, Integration & Functional test and frameworks like Jasmine, Karma.
- Experience in software quality and operational excellence practices.
- Experience in agile development methodology.
