Job Summary
The Admissions Clerk plays a crucial role in the registration of patients and answering phone calls. This position involves interacting with the public and staff. The ideal candidate will have a positive and helpful attitude. Must be able to communicate appropriately and effectively. Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and family members who come in to the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of patients.
- Collect information to assist nursing staff in caring for patients.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Answering phone calls in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Experience working with the public is preferred.
- Computer experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $15.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
