What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bingo Inventory Technician position at WinnaVegas Casino Resort?
JOB SUMMARY:
The inventory control technician will work under the direct supervision of the Bingo Manager; follow all management policy and procedures.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Be responsible for daily inventory of all bingo paper.
2. Be responsible for a complete inventory of all bingo paper in stock, and bingo
supplies on a daily and monthly basis. To determine daily inventory of stock on hand.
3. Provide required bingo packets; novelty inventory for each bingo session.
4. Validate and record serial numbers for all inventories used per session daily.
5. Record all inventories in and out daily.
6. Assigned to various duties- packaging evening and matinee books, set-up carts, unload weekly shipment, stamp tickets, count various bingo paper, etc.
7. Pull serial numbers and perm ranges for evening: set-up with sheets for all games, Bonanza, Do-it-your self-tickets, etc.
8. Set up for admissions and floor clerks. Issue all related paper to floor clerks for matinee and evening sessions.
9. Count and verify returned inventory from matinee and evening books used on the previous
day. Quality control of paper used on the floor on a daily basis.
10. Fill out paper work for bingo finance-first step for accounting purposes.
11. Provide management with a weekly report of all inventory needs and financial information.
12. Must attend all training and/or meetings as directed by management.
13. Orders out for supplies and equipment.
14. Perform all other job-related duties as required by management.
15. Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests.
AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISORY CAPACITY
Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1 – 15 above.
SIGNATURE AUTHORITY:
All documents of inventory for bingo paper, novelty items.
ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:
Record, paper, prep rooms, and sales booth.
With Security escort in accordance with Internal Controls.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of bingo operation.
- Knowledge of inventory control.
4. Comprehensive computer skills.5. Knowledge of operations of equipment directly related to bingo operations i.e., inventory counters, validators, and calculator.6. Ability to track series of numbers accurately, and keep accurate count.
- Must have excellent communication, presentation and math skills.
- Good organizational and clerical skills required.
- Must be able to obtain gaming license.
- Bi-cultural experience preferred.
- Native American preference.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
1. Must have a telephone.
2. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
3. Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.
