This is a hybrid opportunity offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support within the Human Resources department. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for accurately and skillfully answering a wide-range of customer questions and concerns related to benefits,
- Manage the Benefits ticket requests and act as a dispatcher for all Human Resources Helpdesk calls and emails.
- Support Administration of Workers Compensation and/or Leave of Absence, including but not limited to, initial report filing, employee communications, ATO coordination, benefit premium continuation, state form completion, monitor reporting, update employment status, etc.
- Provide administrative support for health and welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit offerings including but not limited to, processing and reconciling monthly vendor invoices, process retirement funding, process employee actions (exceptions, claims, support orders), sending various communications and required notices, etc.
- Audit HRIS benefit data to carrier records, monitor for errors and escalate as appropriate.
- Provide operational support of recurring processes and special projects within the human resource function including but not limited to background checks, I-9 processing, benefit reimbursements, anniversary awards, employees living on site, filing, back up support for TA operations, employee communications, etc.
- Provide administrative support to various HR projects and/or initiatives as needed as well as other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree, preferably in the Human Resources or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of related work experience in an HR or administrative support position.
- Strong experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, work to deadlines using sound judgement.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with administering benefits such as health and welfare, retirement and ancillary benefits.
- Experience with auditing, filing, reconciling, monitoring records for errors.
- Proven operational support of background checks and I-9 documentation.
