Seeking Advocate Supervisor for CASA of Winnebago County
Winnebago County CASA is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that advocates for abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system. Our trained volunteers are appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of children in the abuse and neglect court. Our obligation is to ensure that the children we represent will be visited at least monthly, and that their needs, desires and circumstances will be reported to the court at every scheduled hearing. The Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem (CASA/GAL) will be the consistent person in the child's life.
We are looking for an Advocate Supervisor to provide case management supervision to our community volunteers. In addition, this position will provide support to the Training Coordinator by assisting with the training process and retention efforts. Coordinators are responsible for maintaining agency relationships as well as relationships within the court house. This full-time time position is flexible with some periods of time that will require more time than others. This role will work closely with the CASA Program Director, other staff, volunteers and the general community to support CASA's mission to advocate for abused and neglected children.
A high school diploma or GED is required, college graduate and/or industry related education or experience is preferred.
Salary : $18 - $21
