Pattern Storage

Job Summary

We are seeking an individual that is hard working, dependable and is willing to learn to join our pattern storage team.

This is a first shift position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The starting rate is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Ø Pattern handling and storage: Carefully storing and retrieving patterns from designated storage locations, using appropriate handling techniques to prevent damage.

Ø Inventory management: Maintaining accurate records of all patterns in storage, including tracking their location, condition, and usage history.

Ø Labeling and organization: Clearly labeling patterns with identification numbers and relevant details to facilitate easy retrieval.

Ø Quality checks: regularly inspecting patterns for signs of wear, damage, or deterioration, reporting any issues to relevant personnel.

Ø Pattern Rotation: rotating patterns within storage to ensure even wear and prevent warping.

Ø Data entry: Recording pattern details into the inventory management systems.

Ø Cleaning and maintenance: cleaning and maintaining storage areas to ensure a clean and organized environment.

Ø Delivery and retrieval: Coordinating the delivery or patterns to production areas as needed and returning used patterns to storage.

Ø Forklift Operation: Operating forklifts or other material handling equipment to move large or heavy patterns (depending on the workplace).

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Ø Bilingual

Ø Ability to read and write in English

Ø Read and understand blueprints

Ø Lift up to 50 LBS

Ø Basic computer skills

Ø Knowledge if hand tools and mechanical skills

Ø Navigate a forklift or Bobcat
