SUMMARY :
As a member of Barletta's Human Resources team, the HR, People & Operations Partner at Barletta Boats plays a crucial role in driving the business objectives of our organization by taking a "business first" mindset to integrating human resources strategies and initiatives to all we do. This highly collaborative role partners closely with business and operations leaders, as well as front line employees to provide guidance, support, and expertise on a wide range of business and HR initiatives that support our Barletta Great culture. This role requires a deep understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and the unique challenges and dynamics of being a strategically aligned integrated business partner in a production environment. Supports a "think global, act local" approach to being an enterprise resource supporting the implementation and execution of select Winnebago Industries' strategy and initiatives at the business unit level.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Core and Strategic HR Partnership :
Partner with assigned business and operations leaders to align HR initiatives with Barletta's strategic initiatives, goals, and objectives.
Provide support in areas such as workforce planning, talent management, safety, culture, engagement, and organizational development.Proactively analyze workforce trends, and leverage HR analytics to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive solutions.General HR administrative support and reporting.Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and upkeep of employee maintenanceLeverage HR technology (ADP / Workday HRIS, Qualtrics, etc.) to automate and deliver a great employee experience.Other HR related tasks, projects, and priorities as needed to support our employees and a Barletta Great culture.Employee Relations :Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to Barletta leadership on employee relations matters, ensuring equitable and consistent application of policies and procedures aligned to our values.
Lead the review and resolution of employee complaints, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws, always with advocacy and alignment towards our values.Analyze trends in employee relations and challenges status quo with regards to existing employment-related policies and procedures.Provide guidance on performance management, coaching, and corrective action to enhance employee performance and engagement aligned to a Barletta Great culture.Uses proactive discretion to consult with HR Manager and / or Vice President, Human Resources on any employee relations issues that should be escalated for further input, insight, and discussion.Talent Acquisition and Management :Own the talent acquisition process for assigned groups to ensure flawless execution of a great candidate and hiring manager experience.
Support the development of an annual digital strategy with a goal of being first, best, and unique in how Barletta positions our employee brand and value proposition.Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and attract top talent for various production and support staff roles.Conduct job analysis, create and update job descriptions, and participate in the selection process as needed to ensure we only hire the best fit for Barletta.Assist in the onboarding process of new employees, facilitating orientation, and ensuring a smooth integration into Barletta.Facilitate monthly Performance Culture meetings with operations leaders to develop action plans aligned to employee recognition, development, accountability, and engagement.Own the identification and development process for our high potential internal production talent; ensure we relentlessly grow and develop our own leaders.Compensation, Benefits, and Worker's Compensation :Support the administration and communication of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Provide phenomenal service delivery in support and follow through of employee's needs related to their compensation and / or benefits.Worker's compensation reporting, OSHA log upkeep, follow up with employees.Training and Development :Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and assist in the design of learning & development programs that support the growth and development of our employees and evolution of a Barletta Great culture.
Facilitate and / or support training sessions on topics such as safety & regulatory compliance, soft-skills, and leadership development.Support the continued development and evolution of our career pathing process to ensure our people have every opportunity to maximize their individual potential and capability.Culture, HR Policies and Compliance :Ensures all HR and people-related decisions align to evolve an inclusive and employee-focused Barletta Great culture.
Balance compliance and risk taking to ensure our policies and procedures reflect a focus on building the best employee experience and culture for Barletta.Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR practices and processes.Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and other related documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to employees.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in labor laws to proactively address potential issues and recommend policy updates.Behavioral Competencies

Bachelors in HR, Business Administration and / or other relevant course of study preferredPrevious experience in a highly collaborative, customer and service-delivery focused HR organizationStrong knowledge of HRIS and analytics platforms; ability to translate data into actionsExcellent communication skills; written, verbal, and digitalBilingual (English / Spanish) candidates preferredCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :
