Primary Objective of Position: Leads the product strategy and tactical programs for one or more motorized product lines. Gains a deep knowledge of customer needs and coordinates across the organization to ensure key customer needs are being met, resulting in profitable sales growth. Activities cover the full life cycle of the product, from defining the product roadmap and new product launches, to maximizing product sales and profit, to managing the product’s end-of-life. Partners with internal functions (sales, production, purchasing, engineering, service) to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Product Strategy and Development
- Lead the product lifecycle, from defining the roadmap to launch, growth, and end-of-life management.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to shape product innovation and strategy.
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, including adjacent markets, product platforms, and business models.

Customer Insights and Market Research
- Conduct consumer research to deeply understand customer needs and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by visiting dealers, trade shows, customers, and adjacent market users.

Go-to-Market Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive product launch plans, collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams.
- Define and implement pricing strategies, leveraging market research, cost analysis, and volume forecasts to maximize profitability.

Portfolio Optimization
- Partner with sales and engineering to create and execute product strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Manage product portfolio performance, including pricing, portfolio rationalization, and lifecycle optimization to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead initiatives like value-added/value-engineering prioritization, supply chain decision-making and quality improvement programs to enhance product value and profitability.

- Prepare long-term sales forecasts, business plans, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Regularly evaluate and report on product performance, making data-driven recommendations to optimize success.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or technical sales. Understanding of the RV, automotive, travel or related industries is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in developing growth strategies, launching products, and managing product lifecycles.
- Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing data and building business cases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
