Supervisor, External Logistics

Are you seeking a new opportunity with a growing company? Winnebago Outdoors seeking a Supervisor, External Logistics to join our team based in Forest City, IA. This role will partner with internal and external partners to deliver organizational excellence within our logistics function.

Day To Day Of The Role

• Coordinate partnership with 3rd party partner responsible for unit delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams to review external shipment needs to meet financial commitments and availability of carriers
• Assist in resolution of errors found in EDI platform for transmission of dispatch
• Assist in pricing reviews and alternative routes to achieve financial targets for outbound shipments
• Manage invoicing process for 3rd party partner responsible for delivery fulfillment to customer sites
• Manage communication of quality defects detected at 3rd party partner or customer sites internal for resolution and corrective action
• Management of freight claims identified for finished product at customer sites
• Oversee the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and coordinate with internal partners for compliance to regulations
• Oversee movement of chassis between locations (Forest City, Charles City and Lake Mills) to support production demand
• Other duties as assigned based on business need
  
  

Education & Experience

• Associates degree is highly desired. Equivalent experience and a combination of acceptable education and/or certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree
• 3 years of supervisory experience, ideally within the logistics or warehousing function
• 5 years of experience within the logistics, traffic, warehousing or freight management function
