Job Overview:
As the Hospitality Supervisor at our family entertainment center, you will be responsible for
leading and managing the hospitality team to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Your
role will encompass overseeing various guest services, maintaining high standards of customer
service, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of visitors. This job description outlines the
primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the hospitality team, including front-of-house staff, attendants,
and hosts/hostesses.
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance evaluations to enhance team skills and
customer service.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure that all team members consistently provide exceptional customer service and create
a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Monitor guest interactions and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional
manner.
3. Front-of-House Operations:
- Coordinate and manage all front-of-house activities, including ticketing, admissions, and
guest inquiries.
- Ensure efficient guest flow and minimize wait times through effective management of
queues and reservations.
4. Guest Engagement and Experience:
- Create a positive and engaging experience for visitors, ensuring that their needs and
preferences are met.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and events that enhance the
guest experience.
5. Staff Scheduling:
- Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and
special events.
6. Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and merchandise, coordinating with relevant
departments to maintain appropriate stock levels.
7. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for both
guests and staff.
- Train staff on emergency procedures and ensure they are familiar with first aid protocols.
8. Upselling and Cross-Selling:
- Train staff in upselling and cross-selling techniques to enhance revenue and guest
experience.
- Encourage suggestive selling of food, beverages, merchandise, and additional experiences.
9. Guest Feedback and Improvement:
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement
necessary changes.
- Develop action plans based on feedback to enhance customer satisfaction.
10. Event Support:
- Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure successful execution of special events,
parties, and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality, entertainment,
or customer service industry.
- Strong passion for providing exceptional customer experiences and creating a positive
atmosphere.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers
and staff at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, maintaining a calm and professional
demeanor.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant software, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems and scheduling
tools.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by
the operational needs of the family entertainment center.
