Description

WinnMed is seeking to hire a Radiology Assistant in our Radiology Department ! The Radiology Assistant assists medical secretaries, technologists and radiologists in providing service and assistance to patients having exams. This position will perform the following clerical, administrative and general office duties :

  • record file maintenance
  • scheduling and greeting patients
  • PACs and electronic health record operations
  • assisting with patient care exams under the supervision of a registered technologist.

Shift Schedule :

  • Flexible schedule, pick up shifts and work as needed.
  • Department schedule : Monday - Friday; hours between 6 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.

    • Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
  • Use of standard office and medical equipment required.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
