What are the responsibilities and job description for the WRHS School Nurse position at Winnisquam Regional High School?
Winnisquam Regional High School actively seeking a School Nurse. This position assumes responsibility for appropriate assessment, documentation, planning, interventions, evaluation, management, and referral activities for students. The school nurse provides for the maintenance of health and prevention of illness thereby facilitating the removal of health-related barriers to learning and promoting an optimal level of wellness for students and is responsible for the direct and indirect care given to students in conformance with school district policies, State of New Hampshire professional standards of practice, physician’s orders, student health plans and Individual Education Programs (IEP) for students with disabilities.
Applicants must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire and should have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience as an RN in order to be certifiable as a school nurse. Current CPR certification is highly desirable.
