WinnScapes, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Landscape/ Hardscape Crew Leader. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including the installation of hardscapes and outdoor living areas, as well as, dynamic landscape designs. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage safety, quality and productivity of work.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, dump trucks, skid loader, masonry saws, compactors, chainsaws, jackhammers, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, etc.
- Lead the installation of paver patios, decorative/retaining walls, water features, landscape plantings, sod, drainage and grading, pruning, mulching etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
- Read and interpret landscape drawings to delegate/complete work activities.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis.
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
- Participate in all snow removal activities.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of previous experience in landscape related field, including experience leading crews of multiple employees.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- General knowledge of construction materials, not required, but preferred.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable in working well with a team in a fast paced field environment.
*Experience is preferred, however, training may be provided to the right candidate.*
