Summary:
Under the direction of the Plant QA Manager, the Quality Support Coordinator is responsible for items relating to finished goods, labels, and database systems. Job Duties:
The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Act as the main point of contact for new/existing product specification revisions and supplier documentation management and distribution for assigned processing facility
- Manage and coordinate information required for building new items, reactivation, deactivation, and updates for finished goods in the E21 system with Sales, Customer Service, Quality, and R&D
- Coordinate appropriate distribution of GFSI document requests
- Develop packaging standards, batch records and labels for new items
- Manage the development of finished product specifications and obtain information from the source plants as directed by Procurement
- Support and coordinate packaging redesign activities for accounts by working directly with design houses and Winona project management staff
- Review regulatory and customer compliance of specification information, labels, corrugate, vendor documentation and database compliance as directed
- Manage, coordinate, and update information in databases used for plant specific items and maintain 100% compliance
- Support QA department by obtaining necessary documents, supporting their requests and additional various needs
- Develop effective workflow communication to relay status of projects in the pipeline to the QA and Management teams
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Four-year college or two-year technical degree preferred or four years of high school with 1-2 years’ experience
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as customer requests, packaging design requests, etc
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with ability to multitask and interact with multiple program applications
- Ability to successfully navigate and troubleshoot where necessary internal systems
- Strong ability to write standard or complex regulatory documentation
- Ability to effectively present information to other employees in the organization in either written or verbal forms
- Willingness to learn and use complex regulatory process math
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to handle any issues that may arise by applying detailed reasoning, or interacting with multiple departments to ascertain appropriate responses
