Winstanley Construction Management is seeking a Real Estate Construction Administrator to join its team in New Haven, CT to support our Project Management Team. This individual must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and strong interpersonal skills. Winstanley has a Hybrid work schedule. This position is part-time with flexible hours and a hybrid work policy.
This position will assist the Winstanley Construction Management Team with general administrative tasks including an emphasis on project accounting and budget management, and extensive usage of the company’s Yardi Job Cost software application. This individual is also responsible for managing contract administration, project change orders and insurance compliance, as well as providing high-level organization and administrative support to the Construction Management Team.

· Project set up and close out
· Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects
· Support Pre-Construction and Project Management in developing, tracking and managing construction budgets throughout the project life-cycle.
· Administer contract management, invoice and requisition processing in Yardi, change orders and budget updates.
· Manage project cost updates in Yardi/Job Cost.
· Ensure administrative contract compliance by/for contractors, consultants and vendors.
· Attend and participate in internal meetings within the Winstanley Enterprises organization.
· Collect, track and review consultant, contractor and vendor certificates of insurance to insure contract compliance.
· Support the management and organization of the project documentation file system
· Maintain meticulous progress tracking tools including Yardi/Job Cost application and spreadsheets.
· Coordinate tenant billings with Winstanley Accounting Department
· Assist in the management and tracking of various project logs and reports
· Create, assemble and distribute reports internally and externally as required for the team.
· Maintain file server structure and support project document control.
· For tenant related projects – read, understand, and communicate landlord and tenant construction obligations per the terms of the tenant leases.
Job Qualifications and Experience
· 3 years in Construction Administration
· Strong analytical skills and project accounting aptitude
· Knowledgeable in budget tracking and basic contract/accounting terminology
· Experience with Microsoft Office applications and overall technology familiarity; knowledge of real estate/job cost software a plus
· Strong organizational skills and ability to plan/manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work effectively with various groups within Winstanley Enterprises (Property Management, Accounting, Lease Administration. Asset Management) and with outside vendors, including design teams, contractors and consultants.
· Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
