Aquatics Technician
We are looking for an Aquatics Technician to ensure our pools, spas, and water features stay sparkling and safe for our guests.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for everything that keeps our water features in perfect working order from testing water chemistry and servicing equipment to ensuring our guests enjoy an impeccable refreshing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Keep pools and spas crystal clear and the water balanced so that every guest has an outstanding experience.
- Test pool water chemistry multiple times a day to maintain ideal levels of pH, chlorine, calcium, and more.
- Maintain and repair pool equipment from filters and pumps to motors and mechanical seals.
- Log and track all pool readings, chemical additions, and maintenance tasks.
- Replace burned-out light bulbs in pool decks and underwater lights.
- Solve problems quickly and efficiently to ensure our pools and spas stay safe and operational.
- Clean pools, spas, and fountains using top-of-the-line equipment.
- Help colleagues and contribute to the team effort to maintain the overall look and function of our property.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Certified Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
- Strong work ethic, mechanical, and technical knowledge.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy equipment up to 80 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and climb ladders up to 30 feet high.
- Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in tight spaces.
