At WinStar World Casino & Hotel, we're looking for an Aquatics Technician to ensure our pools, spas, and water features stay sparkling and safe for our guests. If you thrive on maintaining high standards and love being hands-on, this role is for you!

As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for everything that keeps our water features in perfect working order—from testing water chemistry and servicing equipment, to ensuring our guests enjoy an impeccable, refreshing experience. Every day presents new challenges, and we’re looking for someone who can dive into action (pun intended) with skill and enthusiasm!

What You'll Do:

• Make a Splash in Guest Satisfaction: You’ll keep our pools and spas crystal clear and the water balanced so that every guest has an outstanding experience.
• Water Chemistry Master: Test pool water chemistry multiple times a day to maintain ideal levels of pH, chlorine, calcium, and more. You’ll use your expertise to keep everything in perfect balance according to Oklahoma State and Love County Health standards.
• Keep Things Flowing Smoothly: Maintain and repair pool equipment, from filters and pumps to motors and mechanical seals. You'll use your skills in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trades to keep things running perfectly.
• Document Everything: Log and track all pool readings, chemical additions, and maintenance tasks so our records stay as clean as our pools!
• Light Up the Night: Replace burned-out light bulbs in pool decks and underwater lights to keep the ambiance perfect day or night.
• Be a Problem Solver: If something’s not working—whether it’s a faulty motor or a mechanical issue—you’ll step in to fix it quickly and efficiently, ensuring our pools and spas stay safe and operational.
• Keep it Clean: Use top-of-the-line equipment to clean our pools, spas, and fountains, and make sure everything is pristine and inviting.
• Team Player: Help your colleagues and contribute to the team effort to maintain the overall look and function of our property, from landscaping to snow removal, and beyond.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:

• 2 Years Experience: You’ve got at least 2 years of experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role, and you’re a certified Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
• Mechanical & Technical Knowledge: You understand pool chemistry and are skilled in maintaining and repairing equipment, from basic plumbing to electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong Work Ethic: You’re not afraid of hard work and are willing to tackle a variety of tasks throughout the day, from troubleshooting equipment to managing chemical inventories.
• Team Player: A positive, collaborative attitude is a must—when something needs fixing, you're always ready to pitch in and help your team.
• Great Communication Skills: You’ll need to document all pool readings and communicate any issues or needs to supervisors in a clear, accurate manner.
• Detail-Oriented: Precision matters—whether it's balancing chemicals or inspecting pool equipment, you know how to keep everything in top shape.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy equipment (up to 80 lbs), work on your feet for extended periods, and climb ladders (up to 30 feet high).
• Must be able to work in varying conditions: hot and cold weather, indoors and outdoors, and at times in harsh weather conditions.
• Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in tight spaces.
• Must be able to handle stress and respond to visual and auditory cues in high-pressure situations.
