Position Details:
As a Kennel Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure that all pets receive optimal care, and lead our motivated team. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the quality and standards our clients have come to expect.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the kennel facility.
- Oversee and train staff to ensure high-quality pet care and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Implement and maintain standardized pet care, safety, and facility hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with staff to create a nurturing environment for all pets.
- Coordinate scheduling to ensure adequate staff coverage for all shifts.
- Be ready to step up and support the staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in a dog kennel. We would prefer a candidate with three years or more of professional kennel experience.
- Preferred experience in staff management or training roles.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Passionate about animal welfare and dedicated to providing exceptional pet care.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts (7 am to 1 pm or 4 pm to 8 pm).
Compensation:
- Competitive pay starting at $20 per hour.
- Estimated annual earnings of $35,000.
- On-the-job training is provided, with an emphasis on staff development.
